We believe everyone deserves the chance to feel included in a social setting. In our social groups, individuals of all abilities are invited to join and experience a place where everyone is not only welcomed, but celebrated.

April Teen Scene: Pass the Hat Baseball Benefit
Registration open through April 20th

Join your teen friends for an evening of baseball while supporting Jacob’s Chance! “Pass the Hat” is an annual event where local baseball teams come together to raise money for Jacob's Chance programs.


The event features two back-to-back games, so you can choose to attend one or stay for both! Food trucks will be on-site, so feel free to bring money if you’d like to purchase food.
 

Families are also invited to join this 16th annual community event! General admission tickets can be purchased HERE.

Location: The Glen Allen Stadium at RF&P Park

The Teen Scene
Ages 13 through high school

The Teen Scene provides inclusive monthly social events for teens ages 13 through high school. The gatherings are planned by a group of peers that belong to the Teen Board of Directors. Monthly gatherings are held at various locations around the metro Richmond area. Participation costs are minimal and financial assistance is always available.

The Adult
Hangout

High school grads through age 40

The Adult Hangout is an adult social group that encourages relationship building, independence, and socialization between high school graduates up to age 40 with intellectual, developmental, and/or physical disabilities. Monthly gatherings are held at various locations around the metro Richmond area. Participation costs are minimal, and financial assistance is always available.

April Adult Hangout: Mini Golf
Registration open through April 13th (or until at capacity)

Get ready to join your friends for a fun mini golf adventure! Putt your way through the course, encourage each other, and enjoy a relaxed evening together. After the game, we’ll gather under the pavilion to enjoy a light dinner and hang out!

3G - Guys, Gals, and Games
Registration open through January 10th (or until at capacity)

3G - Guys, Gals,
and Games

Ages 13-40

3G is a weekly social group focused on providing opportunities for socializing, relationship building, and disability acceptance. We come together each week to play card games, board games, build Legos, draw, color, or just hang out! Led by Andrew and with volunteers of a variety of ages helping out, friends of all abilities are welcome to come each week to hang out and make new friends!
