All campers and volunteers are invited to a pre-camp ice cream social on Wednesday, June 3rd from 6:30-7:30pm at Westover Hills UMC (1705 Westover Hills Blvd, Richmond, VA 23225). Volunteers will arrive early for a training from 4:45-6:30pm.

Sports Camp

Campers will participate in a variety of engaging sports activities focused on skill-building, socialization, healthy lifestyles, and overall well-being. Examples of sports include volleyball, soccer, pickleball, kickball, and basketball. Jacob's Chance utilizes the buddy system to encourage socialization and ensure each camper is able to participate to their maximum potential. Our “Buddy Ball Olympics” theme returns for a week centered on teamwork, fun, and friendly competition, ending with a special medal ceremony that celebrates each camper's unique accomplishments.

Culinary Arts Camp

Campers will participate in a variety of enriching culinary arts-based activities that are focused on creativity, skill-building, socialization, and positive self-image. Jacob's Chance utilizes the buddy system to encourage socialization and ensure each camper is able to participate to their maximum potential.

Arts Camp

Campers will participate in a variety of enriching arts-based activities that are focused on positive self-image, socialization, and creativity. Jacob's Chance utilizes the buddy system to encourage socialization and ensure each camper is able to participate to their maximum potential. This year's theme is "Out of This World!"

Explore RVA Camp

Campers will participate in a field-trip based camp exploring a different accessible attraction in Richmond each day. Jacob's Chance utilizes the buddy system to encourage socialization and ensure each camper is able to participate to their maximum potential. This year's attractions include Artist Alley, the Science Museum of Virginia, and so much more!
